The chassis belonged to a 1969 automatic beetle. It was modified to a shifted version and the floor pans were changed and the chassis was zinc and powder coated in 1998. Kreutzi found the 60´s original folding roof body on a grassland 2 years later. The restauration of the car took time until 2007, due to the lack of money. The premier of the car was at the May Cruise Madness in 2007. At that time the car was equipped with export bumpers, a 1600ccm engine and a serial transmission. The bumpers were changed to T-Bars and Lucas turn signals were mounted in winter 2008/2009. The new 2332cc engine was build in winter 2009/2010.
